Its hard to believe that Hudson has already reached the three month mark. It seems like just yesterday that we were waiting and waiting and waiting for him to arrive. Now we can't remember what our life was like without him!!! He is the most amazing little guy - yes we are rather partial to him

He is now smiling non stop and loves to sit and coo at us. There are times that it looks like he is really trying to tell us something!! He had some cereal from a spoon for the 1st time a few weeks ago and loved it!!

We decided to get some more portraits taken of him for his 3 month birthday. We loved how they turned out!!!

It's hard to believe that Hudson is one month old already. It seems just like yesterday that we were waiting for him to get here. Life is nothing like we thought it would be. Having a baby changes so many things - for the better. We are learning to live with less sleep, getting naps here and there when we can. Family has been a tremendous help to us. Katie's parents only live a mile from us, and it has been wonderful to be able to have her Mom help with so many things. We don't know what we would do without her help - I know we would be alot more tired that we are!!!

Hudson is such an amazing baby!! He is so content and laid back most of the time. The only time he seriously cries is when its time to eat, which seems to be alot!!! It seems like he is changing everyday, growing and becoming a little person!! It is amazing to see his features change. He looks so different from day to day.

He had his 1 month appt yesterday, which went really well. He now weighs a whopping 10 lbs. 12 oz!!! This kid loves to eat!!! He is in the 60th percentile, which is great. He is already holding his head up and loves to lay in his boppy and look at all that is going on around him. He is sleeping about 8 hours a night, with a feeding somewhere in the middle of those 8 hours. So we are getting about 3-4 hours of sleep at a time, which is pretty good for a newborn - at least that is what people tell us.

Ema Gabrielle arrived safely on Saturday, November 17 at 12:43pm!!! She was born to Ryan's younger brother Rob and his wife Kara. Ema is the first girl on both sides of our families, so we are pretty excited to finally have a niece!!!

Proud big brother Dustyn. He is very protective of her already. I feel bad for the poor boy who comes calling for Ema in 16-20 years!!! (Big brother #2 Kole was not at the hospital, but he loves his baby sister "Mema" already too!!!

Ema and Hudson will more than likely be about 6-8 weeks apart, so we are looking forward to seeing all the fun they have growing up together!!!
